What is the goal of the Aish Campus Leadership Fellowship?
To enable Jewish university students to experience, explore, and learn about their Jewish heritage, helping to shape confident and knowledgeable Jewish leaders of the future..

What are the activities of the fellowship?

How long does each fellowship program last?
Each session will last approximately ten weeks, (excluding campuses on a quarter system wherein the sessions will last just eight weeks). Please see the Schedule section to find out about specific start dates for each university.

How much time will the program take each week?
Each week's classes will last between two and two and a half hours per week. There may be a few additional events depending on your location..

Who will be leading the programs?
Renowned Jewish educators and leaders in various professional fields will speak from a classical Jewish perspective, on topics crucial to understanding one's Jewish heritage and acting in a leadership capacity on campus and in communities.

How many students are in each fellowship program?
Approximately fifteen to twenty-five students will be accepted to the Aish Campus Leadership Fellowship at each participating location..

What kind of education background do I require to be accepted to the program?
No prior knowledge of Jewish topics, nor prior leadership training and/or experience are necessary to be accepted to the program.

What are the requirements to receive the stipend?
The requirements are to attend and participate in all of the classes and events. Lack of attendance will result in a prorated deduction from the cash stipend which is to be received at the completion of the program. Also, each Fellow is required to keep a log of their notes on each session and email it each week using the Submit Log link at the www.aishleaders.com website.

Why do we provide stipends for participation?
The need for knowledgable Jewish leaders is more important today than ever before. Through the generous donations of donors in various communities, we seek to offset the crisis by providing the next generation with educated Jewish leaders. Realizing that the serious time commitment necessary to fully participate on the Fellowship program, we therefore provide a stipend in order to alleviate any financial concerns students might have as a result of participating.
